Join Us to See Who Will Win the United Way of Randolph County Car Give-A-Way

United Way of Randolph County invites everyone to help us celebrate our first car give-away on Wednesday, December 13 at 11:00 am at Asheboro Honda/Asheboro Nissan. The car give-away promotion was designed to help met our goal of $1.5 million. Individuals that donated $100 or more to the campaign were encouraged to register for the car drawing.
Previously, five finalists’ names were drawn. At the celebration, these finalists will each be given a key. The key that starts the car will win their choice of a new Honda Fit or Nissan Versa. These cars are currently available for viewing at Asheboro Honda and Asheboro Nissan.
This promotion was designed to encourage donors to increase their donations. “We think it increased interests and were able to reach some donors that had never given to the United Way campaign”, says Brett Eckerman, Manager of Campaign and Community Investment for United Way of Randolph County.
Currently, one out of every two citizens of Randolph County is served by a United Way funded agency. United Way supports 25 agencies and 40 programs in Randolph County.
