Charitable Giving can be simple, affordable, and surprisingly beneficial to the donor. There are many charitable giving options to choose from.

Outright gifts are assets that a donor can invest right away in United Way. They include cash, real estate, securities, and other property.

Bequests are what many people have in mind when they think of “planned gifts.” They are made through a will, trust, life insurance, or individual retirement plans.

Remember that any gift of any size can be made in honor of or in memory of a loved one. There are tax advantages to many of these arrangements.

Your financial advisor can help you choose the option that is right for you.

The United Way of Randolph County Endowment welcomes gifts of any size. Please call us if we can be of any assistance.

For more information, or to learn how you can invest in your community through the Endowment, contact United Way at 336-635-4207 or linda@uwrandolph.org

Often, donors who have supported United Way for many years wish to continue that support beyond their lifetime. Through The United Way of Randolph County Endowment, our loyal donors have the opportunity to make bequests or other legacy gifts which will improve the quality of life for Randolph County residents for generations to come.
Legacy and Planned Giving
The Endowment
With an eye to the future, local volunteers established our Endowment in 2000 to create opportunities for a better tomorrow in our community. The Endowment provides additional resources that help United Way meet our community’s needs in ways that annual campaign alone cannot accommodate. Gifts to the Endowment ensure that United Way can plan ahead and be ready to serve the future needs of a growing and changing Randolph County.
The Bridge Builders Society
The Bridge Builders Society recognizes the individual and corporate donors who invest in the future of Randolph County through the Endowment. Charter Members provided the initial $250,000 funding for the Endowment, and future funding will come from current and planned gifts.
The Legacy Society

The Legacy Society recognizes and celebrates donors who indicate they have included the Endowment in their wills or estate plans. To become a member, simply let us know you are considering a Legacy Gift to The United Way of Randolph County Endowment. Gifts of any size qualify the donor for membership.
