Rules and Regulations
Who is eligible?
Any U.S. resident who is 18 years old or older and makes a contribution of $100.00 or more to United Way of Randolph County’s 2025 annual fundraising campaign before Friday, December 12th, 2025 at noon.
Completed entry forms must be given to the company's Employee Campaign Coordinator, who will forward them to United Way of Randolph County at the conclusion of the workplace campaign. All entry forms must be included in the report envelope provided, or mailed to the offices of United Way of Randolph County (363 S Cox Street, Asheboro, NC 27204). The drawing is limited to one entry per person. United Way reserves the right to determine the validity of the entries.
Who is not eligible?
United Way of Randolph County staff, board members, campaign committee, employees of Asheboro Automall and their immediate families, employees of Dogwood Tax & Advisory, LLC, the independent auditing firm that verifies and supervises the entries and drawings.
How does the drawing work?
On Friday, December 12th, 2025, 10 finalists will be drawn from among the eligible entries. Each finalist will be notified that he or she has qualified for the drawing, and will be invited to participate in the car giveaway event where a single winner will win a brand-new 2025 car. All finalists must attend the car giveaway event to receive a key and qualify for the Grand Prize.
Who oversees the drawing?
Dogwood Tax & Advisory, LLC, an independent firm, will verify and supervise the entries and drawings.
What will happen at the car giveaway event?
Each finalist must attend the event at the Asheboro Nissan dealership on December 18th, 2025 at 5:30PM, and will be given the opportunity to select a single key from a group of keys. The finalist whose key opens the door to the car will win. (Car delivery depends on inventory at the time of the event.)
What are the requirements of the winner?
The winner is required to pay all applicable taxes, title, and registration fees relating to the transaction. Before taking possession of the vehicle, the winner must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide valid proof of auto insurance to United Way and Asheboro Automall. All finalists grant the United Way of Randolph County and Asheboro Automall the use of his/her name and photograph in all communication and publicity materials.
